Mercian Travelling Fellowship Award Winner Announced

The Mercian Travelling Fellowship Award was awarded this year to Muhammad Umar Javid who is a year 4 Plastic Surgery trainee registrar working in the Plastic Surgery Unit at Morriston Hospital Swansea.

He was congratulated on his award by our Sales Director Paul Duffy and will use the award to financially support his prestigious fellowship to study Reconstructive Breast Surgery under the supervision of Dr Peter Lennox at the Vancouver General Hospital Canada.

Mercian supported the meeting in September this year which was Chaired by the much-respected Plastic Surgeon Mr Douglas Murray and held at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital in Birmingham.

The meeting was well attended by Plastic Surgery Consultants from throughout the country.
