World renowned Canadian Micro Surgeon announced as the guest speaker for the Mercian/S&T Micro Surgery lecture at the forthcoming BAPRAS Meeting in November in London.

In collaboration with our partners S&T who make the finest Micro Surgery Instruments in the world we are pleased to announce Mercian will be sponsoring the Guest Lecturer at the Micro Surgery lecture during the BAPRAS Meeting in London later this year.

Dr. Edward Buchel has agreed to present the lecture this year focusing on Micro Surgery and his experiences and opinions.

Mercian are the foremost company in the UK supplying our reconstructive Micro Surgery Instruments to the NHS.

Dr Buchel been a surgeon for over 10 years. He completed his medical degree and internship at University of Manitoba before going to St. Vincent’s Hospital in New York for his general surgery residency. He completed his plastic surgery residency at the Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Minnesota. He later was attending staff at the Mayo Clinic Medical School as well as serving as Program Director, Plastic Surgery Microvascular Fellowship.

Dr. Buchel sits on the Editorial Boards of Canadian Journal of Surgery and Microsurgery.
